Meridian is the center of Superior City's high-tech industry. Digitronix, Cybergenics, and S.T.A.R. Labs are all located in Meridian, as is the aeronautics research division of Ferris Aircraft. There are several other computer and biotechnology firms located in the area as well. The region is divided up roughly along product lines.
Computer software and hardware firms make their home in Babylon Sector. Companies like Integrated Machine Products (IMP), Digitronix, and Starrware Software have offices in Babylon. A recent addition to the area has been the new Omega Computers compound.
Daedalus is the largest sector in Meridian and is home to the aeronautic and industrial research firms like Ferris Aircraft and Blacksteel Enterprises. Ferris maintains a state-of-the-art research and testing facility in Daedalus and Pacific Industries has recently opened a new architectural research firm here for testing new building and material designs and concepts.
Century Sector is the center of bio-tech research in the city. Medical research, genetic engineering, and pharmaceutical companies have a strong presence in Century Sector. The Jensik Medical Institute has a facility here, as does Cybergenics (a division of Global Industries) and Genesis Pharmaceuticals (part of Dark World Enterprises).
Vanguard Sector is reserved for the cutting edge high-tech firms. Multi-purpose companies like S.T.A.R. Labs, Dayton Industries, and Lexcorp maintain facilities here.
